After the readings, the use of pictograms and reduced to the simplest forms allows for better communication and immediacy in an international understanding. It allows for the information to be communicated more clear. As seen from the article of the "iconic lion" the changed in the design , from a more intricate illustration to a more simple structured icon to be better understood and readable. With the expand of technology and communication, icons have to be readable for the web which requires it to be at a smaller size and a reduction in resolution.
In this first set of icons there were several approaches to describe the structure of the object , I used the lipstick, stiletto and the clutch for the objects that I first wanted to depict in an iconic manner.
