As a group we decided on the X-Coders: a deeper understanding . X because women have x
chromosomes, but we still have to edit the cover to reference the women. The pattern was designed by Ray and we as group will like to use the pattern as an element that repeats throughout the pages.
In our design we want to approach the body text as if you were looking at code so the reader has a different reading experience. We will be exploring tabs and including various characters that are used in coding. One of the obstacles in our design is that our images are low in resolution. Another element that we explored is if we decided to use characters for the page numbers as a possibility to describe the section.
